UCTalent Pioneer Program (UPP) Terms

1. Introduction

The UCTalent Pioneer Program ("UPP" or the "Program") is a loyalty points program run by UCTalent Labs Company Limited (enterprise code 0402238274, "UCTalent"). These Terms form part of the Terms of Service. For anything about the Program, these Terms prevail.

2. What UPP is and is not

UPP is a loyalty point that can only be redeemed for services provided by UCTalent.

UPP is not money, a token, cryptocurrency, a digital asset, a security or a means of payment. UPP is not recorded on a blockchain.

UPP cannot be exchanged for cash, withdrawn, transferred, gifted, sold, pledged or inherited, and cannot be combined across accounts.

UCTalent does not issue a token. UPP held before the effective date is kept unchanged and governed by these Terms.

3. Eligibility

Users aged 18 or over with a valid UCTalent account may take part. Each person may hold only one account. An organisation earns and spends UPP through the accounts of its users.

4. Earning UPP

Rewarded actions and their point values are published on the UPP page, for example creating an account, completing a profile, linking LinkedIn/GitHub/X accounts, referring valid candidates, inviting new users and reaching a new level.

Linking social accounts is optional and governed by the Privacy Policy. UPP rewards the link itself and does not require you to follow or engage with UCTalent's pages.

A valid referral is a real candidate who agreed to be referred, is not already in the employer's system, and meets the job criteria as confirmed by UCTalent or the employer.

Invite rewards are single-level: you earn UPP when a person you invited directly completes the published steps. You earn nothing from the activity of people they invite.

Each action is rewarded once, unless the UPP page says it is recurring.

5. Pending rewards and claiming

Rewards are held as pending on the UPP page and are added to your balance only when you click Claim. Pending rewards not claimed within 90 days expire. UCTalent may hold pending rewards longer to review unusual activity.

6. Spending UPP

Services you can redeem with UPP and the amount required are published on the UPP page and always shown before you confirm.

Services redeemed with UPP are not refundable as UPP or cash, unless UCTalent fails to provide them through its own fault.

Redeemed services follow the Terms of Service in the same way as the equivalent paid service (for example Referral ATS plan duration or job post limits).

UCTalent may limit how often a service can be redeemed in a period; any limit is shown on the UPP page.

7. Levels and perks

Your level is based on the total UPP you have ever claimed; spending UPP never lowers it. Each new level pays a bonus shown on the UPP page. Level perks (early access, priority support, events, product council) are offered as available and may change.

8. Expiry

UPP does not expire while your account is active. If you do not sign in for 24 months, your UPP balance expires after UCTalent has given at least 30 days' notice. Deleting your account cancels all UPP and your level; you will be reminded before deletion.

9. Fraud and abuse

UCTalent may withhold or reverse UPP, cancel redeemed services, lower your level, or suspend your account where there are grounds to believe you have:

• created multiple or fake accounts, or invited yourself;
• referred fake candidates, candidates who did not consent, or false information;
• bought, sold or traded accounts or UPP;
• used automation or other means to earn points against the purpose of the Program.

10. Changes and ending the Program

UCTalent may adjust the points awarded for each action. Changes apply only to actions taken after the change.

Material changes to your disadvantage (for example a higher UPP price for a service, or removing a service) are notified at least 30 days in advance.

Claimed UPP will not be reduced unilaterally, except under sections 8 and 9.

If the Program ends, UCTalent will give at least 60 days' notice so you can use your balance.

11. Relationship to cash referral rewards

UPP is separate from cash referral rewards (bounties) under section B6 of the Terms of Service. One referral may earn UPP and also qualify for a bounty if it meets the conditions of each.

12. Tax

Where the law requires the value you receive from the Program to be declared or taxed, UCTalent may ask you for the information needed to comply.

13. Personal data

Data about your points, invites and Program activity is processed under the Privacy Policy. Inviters see only which steps their invitees have completed (for example account created, first job posted), never their profiles, applications or job content.
