About the Job
We are hiring an experienced Blockchain Engineer to help join our blockchain engineering team to build exciting projects.Our team runs fairly small, flat, and experienced. While hiring is an important tool for this role, Saola's hiring philosophy is to stay as small as possible, for as long as possible, with talent density as high as possible. Impact here is not measured by the size of one's team.
Responsibilities
- Scope, develop, and deploy new dApps / smart contracts
- Research new blockchain technologies and build Proof of Concept for experimenting
- Take ownership of your work and the work of the team
- Help mentor junior engineers to accelerate their growth, productivity, and multiply their impact
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of Solidity smart contract development experience
- 3+ years of as full-stack or backend developer (NodeJS)
- MUST communicate English well (write, read, speak and listen)
- Experience developing, deploying and running dApps/smart contracts in production on Ethereum mainnet or L2/sidechain
- Knowledge of secure Solidity development patterns for tokens and DeFi protocols
- Good understanding of Javascript ethereum SDKs (web3,js, ethers.js)
- Good knowledge of most prominent ERC Ethereum standards
- Good knowledge of smart contract development tools/frameworks (Truffle, Hardhat)
- Experience writing/maintaining clear and detailed runbooks with good documentation practices
- Experience with systems programming language Go or Rust is a plus
- Passionate about blockchain technologies and DeFi protocols
