About the Job
We are a fast-growing InsurTech SaaS company backed by a leading German insurance group. We build digital platforms that serve major insurers across Germany and Europe.We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst superstar who asks the right critical questions, thinks with exceptional structure and clarity, and operates with a strong sense of urgency. You will work directly with German clients and C-level stakeholders, turning complex insurance needs into precise requirements and delivering high-quality digital products at speed.This is a high-ownership role. You will be expected to challenge assumptions, maintain impeccable organization in every deliverable, drive alignment across teams, and deliver results with zero tolerance for delays or ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements workshops with German stakeholders and internal leadership
- Elicit, challenge, and document business needs into clear, structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Own end-to-end requirements lifecycle with rigorous traceability and quality
- Analyze insurance processes and propose improvements that deliver real business impact
- Drive UAT, validate deliverables, and ensure features meet both business and regulatory standards
- Act as the primary bridge between European business teams and our Hanoi product & engineering teams
Minimum Qualifications
Must Have
- Product Mindset (highest priority) — ability to see features within the overall product flow and system context, evaluate pros and cons of proposed solutions, challenge and push back on customer requests when needed, and think in terms of product value and long-term maintainability
- Impact Analysis — ability to assess the downstream impact of changes across systems, flows, and stakeholders before committing to a solution; identify risks, dependencies, and edge cases proactively
- BA Core Skills - User Story and Acceptance Criteria writing, edge case and error scenario documentation, requirement clarification with developers and stakeholders
- Data & Reporting — ability to read and write SQL queries, understand data models to identify and define data sources, assess reporting feasibility across database structures
- System Integration Awareness — understanding of file-based integrations (e.g., SFTP), API/library usage, and error handling across connected systems
- Database Awareness — schema changes, data type distinctions, performance considerations for large data queries

- Insurance & Warranty Domain — policy lifecycle (registration, cancellation/Storno), claims management
- Payment Domain — Swiss payment regulations (QR IBAN, QR reference,Datatrans), EBICS
