About the Job
Our client is a North America–focused supplier of transformers and power infrastructure equipment. We are seeking a performance-driven Sales Account Manager to lead transformer sales across the U.S. and Canada. This remote-first role involves owning the regional sales strategy, developing long-term relationships with utilities and industrial customers, and managing technically complex, high-value equipment sales. The position requires frequent travel within the U.S. and Canada for client meetings, trade shows, and project negotiations.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy: Own and execute North American sales strategy for transformer products (U.S. & Canada).
  • Business Development: Drive new business development while managing and expanding existing customer accounts.
  • Technical Solutions: Identify customer needs and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions.
  • Field Representation: Travel frequently for customer visits, trade shows, and project discussions.
  • Market Analysis: Collect and analyze market trends, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback.
  • Internal Coordination: Work with engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure order fulfillment.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain sales documentation, reports, and forecasts.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience in transformers, power equipment, or industrial/electrical equipment.
  • Solid understanding of the North American energy and power infrastructure market.
  • Strong account management, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Results-driven and comfortable working in a remote setup.
  • Willing and able to travel frequently across the U.S. (and Canada when required).
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada.
Preferred Requirement
  • Prior work experience at Huawei, TCL, or similar large-scale industrial/power equipment companies.
  • Existing relationships with utilities, EPCs, or industrial customers in North America.
  • Experience selling technically complex, high-value equipment with long sales cycles.
Benefits
Base Salary: $60K–$70K USD.Commission: Strong structure directly tied to performance.
