About the Job
We are looking for a technically strong AI leader to own the AI strategy and execution for the platform. This role is hands-on and deeply technical, focused on designing and shipping AI-native product capabilities. Depending on seniority and fit, this person may lead the technical team or operate as a high-impact individual contributor integrated with the existing engineering organization. This is NOT a product manager role.

Our client is building an AI-powered intelligent trading terminal for the prediction market and on-chain trading ecosystem. The platform aggregates major prediction markets, enabling users to compare odds, discover opportunities, and execute trades across multiple protocols from a single interface. AI capabilities provide real-time insights including smart money flow analysis, trending market detection, and automated research workflows. The product is nearing launch with an established team of 15+ across BD, marketing, design, and a dedicated engineering unit.

Important Notes
- This role is primarily technical, NOT a product management position
- APAC timezone; 6-day work week standard
- Crypto/Web3 experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Management scope is flexible based on candidate capability
Responsibilities
- Own the AI direction and roadmap: market interpretation, signal extraction, information summarization, intelligent alerting, and research workflow automation
- Design and implement LLM, RAG/Retrieval, Tool Calling, and Agent Workflow solutions, integrating with multi-source data (market, on-chain, news, user behavior)
- Collaborate with product, design, data, and engineering teams to ship AI features from concept to production
- Establish evaluation, monitoring, and iteration frameworks balancing effectiveness, stability, latency, cost, and controllability
- Hands-on participation in system architecture, technology selection, and core module development
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering or AI application development experience
- Proven experience building AI products from 0-to-1 or scaling from 1-to-N in production environments
- Deep familiarity with LLM applications, Prompt/Workflow design, RAG, Agents, Tool Use, and Structured Output paradigms
- Real-world experience in AI evaluation, monitoring, and optimization in production systems
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Strong product sense and ability to drive AI initiatives from a business value perspective
- Good communication skills in both Chinese and English
Preferred Requirement
- Core experience at a leading AI unicorn (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, ByteDance AI Lab, Moonshot, Baichuan, etc.) or a top fintech AI division
- Experience building AI evaluation systems, monitoring frameworks, quality gates, or rollback mechanisms
- Player-coach leadership style: able to both execute hands-on and establish team standards
- Experience in trading, fintech, crypto, or real-time data systems

Compensation: Base Salary + Equity / Token Incentives. Base Salary Range: RMB 500,000 - 1,000,000 / year (approx. USD 70K - 140K)
